Get a liquid fabric softener, and use the vinegar. Use a whole (Small) bottle of vinegar...sometimes 1 cup isn't enough. If that doesn't work try adding a little vanilla to the wash.

Take it all out of the washer and shake it out then put half the load back in and wash it as normal, use a little extra soap, and then do the other half.If you just keep adding the cleaners but not mixing up the clothes they may not be getting fully cleaned. Then dry them w/ a few dryer sheets and see how they turn out.Remember alot of it could be in your head!!

You have to wash it about three times and all the smell will come out. Also don;t leave them in the washer for a long time because that is what causes the mold to happen.

Here is a site that has a product called "Purewasher".
It will eliminate the smell from your cloths and washer too.
Its the only product I've found that works on mold.

I do that alot, with 3 small kids, I am constantly forgetting and letting um sit in the washer all night. My towels STANK... then my step mom told me to do a whole landry regimine. Detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets... and VOILA, my clothes smell awesome. I use Gain, I love it, and its affordable to do all of our clothes in. Good luck!

a whole box of baking soda should help in addition to using Clorox stain free bleach. It has quite a pleasant smell.
