Oh, yeah. It's real bad especially when my kids ask me about when I was younger. I don't want to lie to them but I don't want them to know what I used to do / be like so I tell them they're too young. I don't wanna use that as an excuse too often so I might tell them but I'll leave out certain details.

Yes, unfortunately. I made some stupid decisions in my teens & early twenties...but I guess that's what that time period is for.
Something can be said for first hand experience. Learn from it & move on.
