I agree but, as I recall, many governments have been trying to stop the Japanese from killing whales without much success. I really don't hold out much hope for individuals but I guess WWF is an option. You can also check out bluevoice.org., savedolphins.org and earthisland.org.

Those people will get whats coming to them, you dont kill a dolphin thats really bad carma. I have seen japanese people do some really crule things to animals and the worst part is is that they have no idea that they are doing somthing wrong. Like i went into a japanese food store and right in front of me they choped the head off of a turtle and treid to sell me the turtle. I said f you and the lady had no idea what i was saying to her. You need to find a way to help stop the dolphine killings but dont donate money. If you donate money theres about a 90 per cent chance that the money will go into a rich guys pocket instead of helping the dolphins. I have no idea how you could do that to a dolphin.

Believe it or not, it's not only Dolphins that suffer.
Fish may not have been clubbed to death but to get onto your sandwiches they go through intense pressure changes. Ever gone under water too fast? multipy that a couple of hundred times as they are ripped from the deep.
And your Burgers, your roast dinners.
Its all equally horrific but people are so used to eating fish and beef or chicken that it isn't broadcast. Imagine the outcry there would be if sainsburys stocked dolphin burgers.
I suggest you check out this website and watch the "meet your meat" video.

for as adanced as the japanese coulture is...they are barbaric in their treatment of whales dolphins and sharks....they really need to be pressured by the international community to put and end to this way of fishing...i would say that writing a letter to the WWF asking what you can do as a individual might be...
good luck...

I don't know how we can make a difference, but I do agree that this is barbaric in the extreme. Maybe we can boycott all waterparks that have dolphins as exhibits?

I saw the pictures in the paper, they were so horrific to look at. Why not join the wwf to campaign against such things.
