Give it to my family and friends. They would greatly appreciate it and I would become the man of all men.Party time........If I had to make it so there was no longer a connection between me and the 20 million,I would get a float on top, water proof bag of some sort and put all the money in it.I would then take the bag of money out into the Pacific ocean right in front of my house in SoCal,maybe 1/2 a mile or so,and drop it in the water.Soon the surf would wash it in and people along the shore would most definitely find it.A good day to go to the beach it would be....

Interesting ??? Why, do you have 20 million dollars you'd like to share? LOL
Okay, but seriously, I would pay off all my debt including mortgages, pay off my parent's house, my in-law's house, then give them also some money that they can split between the "children" (my sister - I would also put some money in my baby nephew's account - & my husband's siblings) according to their needs. I would also donate to the World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses to help with the publishing of literature and the building of not only local Kingdom Halls but those that need to be built around the world. And lastly, I would go on a very nice vacation, finish buying the few things I don't have that I want, and stock up on food for say an emergency disaster (a disaster kit) along w/ other necesities if anything major were to occur in my area. I would put this money to good use. If I had to spend it all & was not be able to keep any of it, I would definitely put it toward important/valuable things & spend it wisely, not so that I had nothing to show for it later!
*****EDIT******
I FIND IT EVEN MORE INTERESTING THAT I ALREADY HAVE TWO THUMBS DOWN! I DON'T SEE HOW ANY OF WHAT I WOULD DO W/ MY MONEY CALLS FOR RIDICULE. I GUESS IT'S SIMPLY BECAUSE I WOULD GIVE MY MONEY TO THE ONLY ORGANIZATION WHO TEACHES BIBLE TRUTHS AND HAS HELPED MILLIONS TO LEARN WHAT THE BIBLE REALLY TEACHES. HMMM ....
*****FINISH EDIT*****

Set up a few small trusts for a few close family members that are currently in need of some financial assistance and then use the rest going to third world countries and helping villages set up sustainable infrastructure and viable co-op businesses.
Or does me going and doing this with them count as keeping it?
And to some of these answerers....how does buying a car and paying off your own debt not constitute keeping it???!!!!

Donate it for a good cause like a school building or a library or a hospital. Donating such a huge sum gives more happiness than keeping it for my children. The more beneficiaries the more joy it brings in to me personally.

If it didn't matter what I did with it I would buy a good car, pay off the house and find a way to set some aside for my childrens college education.I would also buy new hearing aids for myself and for my father since we can't afford the best ones. I would buy my disabled girl friend a new mini van so she didn't have to worry about trying to find the money to buy it herself since she can't work. The rest I would spend on others who need things or for anything that is really needed for my family.
