I think the Internet brings out the worst it people in many respects. Having a forum to voice opinions is both beneficial and equally as dangerous.
I think you are being conservative with your figures. Even when asking a non partisan intelligent question you will get bashing, nonsense and generally humanity at it's worst for an answer.
We seem to have an incapability to accept that everybody does not have the same opinions. This intolerance is widespread. It is both discouraging and frighting.
It is further perpetuating hate and intolerance, and widening the rift already present in the fabric of society.

Yes I do. Here is the "form" answer I use for just about all those 90%. Your welcome use it also.
It is so disgusting to click on just about any question in politics and seeing nothing but endless immature irrational garbage. What ever happened
to the open exchange of ideas? When did insults, emotional outburst and vituperation take the place of facts and ideas in debate? Just look at the answers your are receiving. How many well thought out, logical, rational answers to your question do you see? (setting aside how ill conceived your question is)

Bush bashing may now be the national pastime. I just wonder what will happen when a new president takes office in Jan. 2009.

I think we can do better. For starters, we could step up the name-calling. EVERYONE shoud be addressed as some variant of "libtard" or "repuke". "Love of Country" needs to be CONSTANTLY equated with worship of George Bush. Treason, of course, is asking a simple question, or even mildly deviating from the concept of ALL WAR--ALL THE TIME / KILL THOSE *******!!

I agree. That is why there should be a liberal category, where
health care, war & the economy could be discussed.
The conservatives could keep the politcal catedgory to continue
their Q&A's about liberals.
Thanks, you've inspired me to ask a question.

What's worse is some users think reporting all the time will change things. All it does is create more tension.

Not all time low, at least not yet, but it is getting there. It is a shame that debate now has turned into we think your stupid and we think your stupid, because of your stance.
