i think the question to be addressed is: has she approached you to rekindle the friendship?

if you're the forgiving sort and she has came to you correct and wants to rebuild it...i'd do it with both eyes wide open...and have an open communication with her if she does something or is about to go down the wrong path again...not to condemn her, to to reinforce how real friends are real with each other. if she continually hurts you, then it may not be worth the effort.

there may be times you do (did) something that she has to forgive you for or had to, but didnt make a big issue out of it...

sometimes we can make a bad thing worse how we react, you know? forgiveness can go a long way....especially if you feel you're not worthy of it....

I wouldn't if I were you. You ended it for a reason. A selfish person doesn't really change. They are into themselves too much to care about anyone else's feelings or property. You were right the first time. Do you really want to be with someone who is self centered. What like of life would that be.

My best friend recently got back in touch with a girl she'd parted ways with due to boyfriend drama. It turned out surprisingly well; they aren't as close as they once were, but they've become "email buddies". If you really want to be friends again, it can't hurt to try.
