Why would people in the Middle East want to watch a show about an American Kicking Middle Eastern Terrorist Butt?

First of all, 24 is a great show and that is likely the reason it is watched internationally. As for the Middle Eastern terrorist comment, if you watch the show, it is often revealed that the terrorists are not acting on their own accord and are, in fact, in collusion with American citizens. This year is certainly no exception with Jack's father and that Russian guy being shown as two of the people behind at least part of it. In fact, season four has been the only season where there were Middle Eastern terrorists with no ties to the government...at least none that I can remember.

why not, it's only a tv show and somebody has to be the bad guy. years ago In Britian all their shows that had a terrorist or a bad person, they are usually Irish, me being Irish I didn't like it but I still watched them. would the countries in the middle east that have terrorists or whatever in their shows be based on people from their own country, I don't think so. They'd base it on people from another country.

Because most people in the Middle East, like most people anywhere else, don't like terrorists blowing up the places they live, work and play. And enjoy watching a show about somebody kicking their terrorist's asses.
