Whether or not he can see his mistakes is not the issue. The problem is that he is doing nothing to change the situation.
Even he can't be that deluded to think he is doing good.
Although, he does think that he was ordained by God to lead the world. The Bible says that God is supposed to be infallible, so maybe he does think that he hasn't made a mistake.

i don't think he does. Otherwise he would have fixed it. I guess he does think that he is doing good. he is after all wanting to send even more innocent boys and men to Iraq to be killed.
