Don't give up your future for a guy, you will end up years later regretting it. I gave up my future for my ex and after 8 years he left me for a friend of mine and the only thing I can think of is everything I gave up for him and literally ended up with nothing in return. If your bf loves you he should support your dreams. Try a long distance relationship or convince him to move with you so you can go to LSU. Good luck

GO TO LSU!! There are always weekend, vacations, spring break, and winter holidays when you two can see each other. He can go to Community college for 2 years then transfer to LSU to be with you. You need to get the best education possible and you're better off at a 4 year school. You can live without having him around 24/7 trust me. You'll have SO much work to do, and you need to focus on school anyway, not your boyfriend.

Put it this way. If you end up going to the community college and the relationship ends up not working out you would be out a good education and the relationship. If you go to LSU you will have a good education AND you could still make the relationship work. Possibly a win win. Go to LSU and try to make the relationship work.

A boyfriend isnt a husband...it may or may not work out between you two so dont go making life changing plans like that you might end up regretting it for the rest of your life. If you two are meant to be together then you will be okay in seperate colleges.

Sure, your boyfriend might make you happy and all that, but is he the key to where you want to go in the future? Is he going to be the one that will get you that degree for your career? Think about it really hard. You need to live your life the way you want it and experience things on your own terms, but it's also okay to make sacrifices here and there. Just be sure that they will be sacrifices (if any) that will make you happy and not regretful.

Go to LSU. Boyfriends come and go, a college experience is forever.
This guy wants you to compromise your education for him? I know you like him, but that is selfish and controlling. He's not a good guy.

You are too young to lose your chance at a career because of puppy love. Go to LSU and if you are meant to be together you will work it out.

Do what is better for you! You have to think of yourself first. Yeah that may sound a bit selfish but your future is more important then your future with him. You could end up resenting him later on if you don't do what it is that you want. I understand you both want to be near each other but why doesn't he relocate then?

Go where you want to! If for some reason you two break up you will be really upset you never went to a University, plus if he cares enough about you he should understand.

Its an obvious answer, Go to the colloge of YOUR choice. If your bf is telling you to go to a college just to be close he is being very selfish.
