It's about a preacher which is smauel l jackson save a girl life by chaining her to his house so she won't get hurt.That girl is christina ricci and later on in the movie the preacehr finally decided that it is not up to him to wethear or not decide her fate for her. hope that help. for more info you could go to movieweb.com that's a very useful site, and that's usually where I get my movie info from
