Canada is a far more tolerant nation, which works diligently to protect the right of ALL it citizens, to be that is politically correct.

If you have your heart set on Alberta, Calgary is a little bit better. You still have the all the employment opportunities that you do in Edmonton, however you are closer to the mountains and it isn't nearly as cold. The only draw back is due to the boom housing is hard to come by.

"politically correct" is a funny term. Where in the world is a a country whose citizens are so dead that they cannot tweak nor critique the running of their country?
If you meant that the citizens do not stare at oddball people of different origins, then perhaps yes. But neither does a lot of the other countries in the world.
