For the same reason that leaving N. Jersey was so appealing to me. I went to Berkely, loved it. I lived in St. Louis for a year, loved it. I lived in Fla. loved it. Now, I´m in Europe, love it. Because I feel like I can get along better being in a place as lax as the Iberian Peninsula. It is awesome to know that you can live a moral life without breaking any laws. So basically, Canada is like another ´paradise´ in your eyes, just as Puerto Rico or Jamaica would be to me. Because it seems exotic, and it is. Plus they have better healthcare, and you are probably American so you will have no problem assimilating. Hope I could´ve helped. Love and Respect.

To be very basic, Canada Kicks ***!

You are tired of your government robbing you of rights and freedoms and you are looking you relocate to a place where the government actively seeks to protect it citizens liberties.

Or you want to marry somebody of the same sex. If so that is okay, we won't judge you here. (unless you move to Alberta).

As a side note you only pay 50% income tax if you are making upwards of 7-8 figures per year. The average tax income tax rate sits around 17%.

I thought it was appealing also.....Then I went to Canada. Now it's not so appealing haha. I just did not jive with that country at all. I love Canadians , don't get me wrong haha, but it was not a place I wanted to be living (and the tax rates are atrocious!)
