Today is 10 days past ovulation I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Does this mean I am probably NOT pregnant? I used the Aimstick test which is supposedly a good early detection test. Do many perople get a positive result this early???

There is still a chance that you could be pregnant. hCG isn't produced until after implantation which occurs anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation. Even if implantation had occurred when you took the test, the levels of hCG were not high enough to detect pregnancy if you got a negative result. Best thing to do is wait a week and test again if you have not gotten your period. Hope you get the results your looking for!

It's a bit early to get an accurate result. Those early tests only work for some women who are pregnant. I didn't get a positive result until 3 days after my missed period.
Wait a few days and test again.

I had a really similar situation. I took a test and it was negative. A week later I took a digital pregnancy test and it was positive. It could be too early to have enough hormone produced in your body to show a positive result, even if you really are pregnant.

10 days past ovulation is way too early for a urine test, the hcg has not even hit your body yet.You have to wait until you are at least 1 dat late with your period for a urine test to detecct the hcg,and then in some cases it may still be to early. The only way it would show in the next couple of days is a blood serum hcg or a quantive blood hcg test.good luck
