The healing process for a broken finger lasts normally 2 weeks.

Until an xray shows that the bone has grown together.
My son broke his thumb during a growth spurt - and it took longer for the bone to regenerate at the break. He had a second cast put on at 6 weeks because the first had become loose and the thumb was not ready for it to come off.

WOW I feel sorry for you.. I have broken my little finger. A friend of mine broke their ring finger.. Seems to take longer if it is an outside *more used* finger....
6 weeks is a good time frame.. you will know.

GOOD LUCK
