is that a two part question. The second part is a transgendered gay male, biologically male but feel like a woman on the inside and live as a woman and attracted to men. The other one is a transgendered lesbian woman. yeah. That did kind of confuse me.

OK.... i don't think you're being curious at all, what i think is you are very right! you do ask a very odd question! the things you mention are mere labels put onto ppl because of convenience. perhaps the labels help in some way. i don't know and more importantly i don't care.

my thought is; what diff does it make? if a person chooses to be involved with me we both made a choice. after the first half hour or so we can make yet another choice; continue or break it off.

my life IS all about choices, and all about me, not what someone else thinks it ought to be.

Gay people are happy with the genders they were born with. they just find members of the same gender sexually attractive.

Feeling as though you were born the wrong gender is something else. I think it’s called Gender Disforia. (Probably misspelled) You can have Gender Disforia and be attracted to ether sex. I have personally met 2 women who were heterosexual men before they had an operation and now are lesbian women.

The way that you define yourself in that instance would be dependent on what gender you feel you are, regardless of how your body is. In your examples, the woman who feels he is a man is a man, and liking women makes him straight. The man who feels she is a woman is a woman, regardless of genitals, and liking men is straight.

The psychiatric community is also a little confused on this subject, as they used to refer to transsexuals who like their birth sex as homosexual, but have realized that because gender identity deals with the brain, not the body, it is more appropriate to call it hetrosexual, regardless of how the body is.

Male identified, born female, doesn't plan on bottom surgery, attracted to women = straight transman
Female identified, born male, non-op, attracted to men = straight transwoman

Hmmm.... I don't know, I guess that would depend on how that particular person sees themselves. Good question though. I think a transgendered individual would be able to give the best answer, I just don't have a b@stard clue to tell you the truth.

It makes you a Straight Transgender.

Sexual orientation and Sexual/Gender Identity are not the same thing. They are not interchangeable or intrinsically linked.

Correct, this is an odd question. Why label yourself?

Transgendered people would say that you are straight.
