This rumour has been going around the circuit since the 90's!
As he is married (not that that is a reason) with a couple of kids, and no one has "kissed and told", since he has been became a high profile player, I doubt it very much!

There was rumours in the early years of his career that he way gay but as welshchick has already answered that nobody has come forward to kiss & tell about it.
He is now married with kids.
Im my opinion I dont think that he is gay.
He is a Legend in Welsh Rugby.

hahaha....can you ask that to him face to face. He will kill you. Gareth thomas is rated as onee of the best attacking players in the world and he really does throw his body on the line while playing. He is not Gay....maybe you just want him to be gay.

Someone actually asked him that in a pub in Bridgend once.
Alfie calmly put his pint glass down and knocked the (rather tough and big) guy out.
If he is gay (which he's not) then he would be one gay guy who easily kicks peoples arses for calling him it.

I don't think so but what is the issue all people are bothered about is that he is a good player and not about his sexuality.
