Once in a while I'll dream about girl who I use to work with (that I kinda had a crush on). I'm no longer employed at the same job, and haven't seen or spoken to her since and it's been about a year. Probably about 4 dreams in the past 3 months with her in it. What's the deal?

you really have an enduring desire for her ... there *is* a possibility that you wil see her again, and if so, talk to her and sense what you can about any reciprocation in interest. If you can feel it, then ask her to get some coffee or something equally nnocuous. If she accepts, just meet in a "safe" setting and continue the communication.
It's probably too early to mention any dream-connection, but you owe it to yourself (and maybe her) to explore possibilities.
