Try Vitamin Water if you can find it in your area. They have a flavor called "revive" which is AWESOME! I also read in an article a while back that V8 juice is helpful in getting you through the "afternoon slump." The vitamins replenish your body. Try really hard to stay away from caffeine. Also, try a snack, like an energy bar!

Five a day which is five portions of fruit and veg.

Visit with your doctor about Provigil!
It's a drug you can get a prescription for, but you have to have epilepsy or shift workers syndrome. (which means you get sleepy in the afternoons and can't sleep at night)
If you don't have insurance though, it will cost you about $250 a month for the pills.

I've heard that eating an apple can give you a nice jolt like a strong cup of coffee. And coffee sucks BTW.

try a ten minute nap, sounds daft but cat naps can work! or on the flip side try 10/20 mins of exercise!
