Worker visas are available. Contact the Jamaican government for information. One thing you should know is that Jamaica is a country that is in dire poverty. Many of its residents live in huts and shacks. Unemployment is rampant and the economy is not strong. Income in Jamaica is extremely low, work is very difficult, and hours are very long. It is a difficult place to earn a decent living. So please carefully consider how you will be able to live before going.

That is possible..being that you have Jamaican parentage. However, in order to do so, you would have to acquire a work permit, that explains your visit , and also allows you to stay on the island for an extended period of time, more than six months, years. Without the work permit, it would just seem as if you were "running off" as we Jamaicans like to call it.
Your second option is to get dual citizenship, which is very easy given that your parents are Jamaican. You will still be able to keep your British citizenship, and also get a Jamaican one. This route I recommend more as with it you are more flexible, you can live and work in both countries if you like without any constraints.

Hope this helps!!
Jamaica is beautiful, enjoy it!!!!!
