I just cant find the desire or energy to do the activities that provide results. When I do them I get immediate results, for example I dont really like door knocking and the only day that I went out in the past 6 months I got a buyer that turned into a 18k commission. I dont like calling expireds, when I did for a couple of hours I made an appointment got the contract and found the buyer, that turned out to be also and 18k commission.

I dont know where to start, I used to be so motivated when I first started 3 years ago that in just 2 weeks I opened 6 Escrows and closed 5, and things just went along good. It all started early last year that I lost my drive and desire, but I need it back, I want to succeed.

Someone out there who has been through the same situation and overcome it please tell me how you did it.

Maybe look into a different style of doing Real Estate. At our real estate company we've implemented a few new practises from the Craig Proctor approach. www.craigproctor.com. We've been to a few of his seminars and they've been very helpful. Also look into listing your properties with Point 2 www.point2homes.com This just makes real estate easier, you have to spend less time getting out there and more time with the clients. Real Estate is changing and I fell that to be successful in it now we need to change our approach. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

I am going through the same thing. Actually i burn out about 2-3 times a year. This past year though has been the best / worst. I increased my income by $30k but also increased expenses. I did not have any sales from mid August to beginning of November. Every bill is past due, in foreclosure, car near repossession. LOL, but I love what I do. And I know that if I can get past this time I will succeed all previous expectations. I am actually not a big fan of Craig Proctor although he has some good tools. If I were you I would check out Brian Buffinis 100 days to greatness program and referral systems. Then maybe once you get that rolling check back w/ Proctor or any of the more salesman type approaches. I think Buffini gets more into the whole person what's going on at home, finances, plus goes back to your PAST clients so you stop knocking on doors. I am going to be diving into it head first in the next two weeks. My coworker started in December and sees the difference.

All i can say is quit being lazy, you said it yourself you can do it. So get your butt out there and do it. Maybe you are just in the wrong business, you may be the type who needs a boss to tell them what to do every minute of every day.
Q8336, sounds to me as if you are in the wrong business as well.
