Lowe is not that good. He should have stayed a closer. You bums can have Schmidt, he's on the back end of his career and we got the best years out of him. Penny is garbage as evidenced by his horrible showing last year. Wolf is overpaid and overrated. Who's left? Hendrickson? Yeah right.

Zito, Cain, Lowry, Morris, Sanchez and wait until Linecrum comes up to the bigs. Go Giants!

Glad 2 seee someone take note of Giants pitching dont forget brian Wilson and Kevin Correria halp make them a complete staff even with out naming a closer. Almost every team in Cali has better pitchin then them. Angels have exceptional while Oakland A's have notable. Detroit has an ok staff I like the D-backs staff and the Reds might have the surprise staff of the league once Saarloos steps up for them. Twins will have a dominant staff even with Radke gone. Atl will have an awesome staff with hampton and Hudson rebouding.

First of all, Penny's season of 16-9, 4.33, 148 K's doesn't qualify as horrible in any baseball-playing universe I'm familiar with. And Schmidt was plagued by injuries last year, and there's no reason to believe that he doesn't have several more years left in him.

Pitching is hard to come by in MLB these days, so I think Dodgers staff is at least serviceable. They are certainly amongst the top 15 teams in starting pitching.

Overall the Dodgers need a complete revamp. In order to stay under the salary cap they trade great players to get a few mediocre players. The new owner talks winning but it seems his philosophy is win just enough to keep the ball park full. There seems to be no dedication by players to a team either. Sadly, money talks and bullshit walks. Loyalty and Team spirit is gone with most sports. Yet, the loyal fans keep buying tickets. Until the fans protest by not buying tickets the owner rules.

Good starters are hard to come by and the Dodgers are lucky to have 5-6 guys that can fill out a strong rotation! I think they have one of the better staffs around. i am a Twins fan and reallt envy teams that have depth of pitching. After losing Radke and Liriano, we are all worried in MN.

Dodgers are the best. My team Angels still rocks over them. Giants pitching is good until it gets to their bullpen.
