My husband and I are pregnant and on our anniversary I will be around 34 weeks preggo. Any suggestions on what to do? I wouldn't be concerned about it but he is deploying to go to Iraq in mid May. He will either miss the birth of our baby or only see her for a week or so. Depending on the dates she decides to come. Anyways, any ideas on what we could do to make this special, since my options are kinda limited. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you♥

You could have a nice dinner out, or I think it might be really romantic to have dinner in and just enjoy each other. Make some memories he can take with him to Iraq. Congrats on the baby and thank you to your husband!

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary just after I found out I was pregnant. We went away for the weekend...not far just a getaway to Vermont which is only a few hours from here. We spent the weekend there exploring the area. Depending on where you live maybe you could plan a little getaway for just the two of you to spend some quality time alone.

If that's not an option or if you don't have the money for it maybe you could spend time together planning something special for the baby. I'm thinking you could make a little scrap book of mommy and daddy by taking pictures of yourselves and asking people to take pictures of you doing fun things together. Again, it depends on where you live but you could make a snowman together, or go to a local park, or the beach or whatever activities are close by. It would be a nice way to spend time together cherishing your relationship but to also do something for the baby since your husband will not be in the area much longer.

One thing my husband and I have done our last 2 anniversaries is spend time reminiscing about our wedding day. Looking at the wedding album and video and remembering our special day. Then we go out for a nice dinner.
