Set it up as an equation:(is means =)(of means x)
Change the percents into decimals by moving over the (.) two times to the left. (ex: 25% of a number is one fourth of a number, or .25.)
You are trying to get the unknown number (n)by itself to get the answer. To do this, do the reverse operation.(ex. The opposite of multiply(x) is devide(/).)
Here are some examples becuase i don't believe in cheating.

1. .4% of n is 2.4
.004 x n = 2.4
2.4/ .004= 600, the answer.

2. 250 is what percent of 200.
250 = n% x 200
250/ 200= 1.25
move the decimal over to the right two times
125% is the answer

3. quota is the n.
175% of n is 35.
1.75 x n = 35
35/ 1.75 =20
20 is the answer.

4. 250% of 200 is n.
2.5 X 200 = n
You don't have to do the reverse operation because the n is already by itself.
2.5 x 200 = 500
It says "more than 200" so add 200 to it.
500 + 200= 700
700 is the answer

5. says "less than"...so subtract the answer from 400 .

One Question For OP -
1. Now that you " Got The Answers" to your homework, and you'll probably get credit for a correct ( error free) homework assingnment, how will you explain getting all of them correct on your homework, but not knowing how to do a single one during a test?
What if, the teacher were to not only accept correct answers for homework but randomly pick " You" to go to the blackboard and illustrate to the class how you did a randomly chosen homeork problem.
I think, it would be better to post two problems and ask for an explanation on how to do it, rather than post a lot and just get answers. Remember, give a man a fish and he'll eat for the day, teach the man how to fish and he'll eat for life.
