There is no way to tell whether you're carrying a boy or girl except by ultrasound or amniocentesis. Skin tone doesn't tell you.
Swollen feet need to be seen by a doctor because it can be a sign of dangerous high blood pressure. Salt or hot water doesn't do anything to help, but putting your feet up will help the veins to carry the extra fluid back to your body. Foot and leg massage helps too.
Vitamin-E creme is the most popular anti stretch mark cream and you can get it at any drug store off the shelf.

Well i have heard about the water and salt thing helping with the swellling. I am 35 weeks pregnant and i havent had any swelling yet. As for the darkening of the neck. Sooo not even true! In pregnancy your neck, face and chest can start to get dis-coloration. I have always had a little bit of dis-coloration but since ive been pregnant, it got way worse! So if you are experiencing darkening in the skin, thats why. It should go away after your have the baby. Mine has gotten bad and i wanted a cream or something for it and my doctor told me i dont need to impress anyone. aha how sweet huh!! Good Luck!!! we r almost there!!

Ok first its an old wives tale, sorry!! Second to reduce swelling stay off your feet and put your feet up. Soaking in hot water may actually make it worse unless you can find a way to do it with your feet up lol. And palmers cocoa butter is the best I have seen., and in america you can buy it at most stores anywhere else just go online and order.Congrats and good luck

Actually the darkeing of the skin on the neck or other thick-skinned areas is a sign of Insulin Resistance. I had this from the time I was a child and was diagnosed with Type II diabetes at age 23.
