What kind of doc/specialist should I see after a car accident?

I was in a brutal car accident and am experiencing spine and back pain. I don't want a chiro, but a medical doctor. Should I see an Orthopoedic surgeon? Someone else?

See a neurosurgeon, or an orthopaedic surgeon. Get a second opinion when there is talk of surgery. Best Wishes.

Why not a chiro? Apparently things were moved out of alignment. You may feel better quicker

i was just in an accident too...i saw an orthopedic surgeon and a chiropractor. good luck and i hope you get better soon.
