I want to thank "truth seeker" for referencing snopes.com. Nice way to validate information.

What I learned is that it is true that Al Gore uses between 12-20 times more power than the average residence, but that is not just a residence. It is 4 times large than a typical home and provides offices for Tipper and Al.
An accurate comparison might be to an office building of the same size.

In additon, Al Gore pays an extra monthly premium of $432.00 to obtain power from windmills, solar etc trying to obtain a "neutral carbon footprint"

But, lets say that Al Gore is a hypocrit. Lets say that he does not "walk the walk". Does that mean that the polar ice cap is not melting?
Does that mean that all of the scientists are wrong.

How does Al Gore's actions guide our actions.
Should we go out and buy a gas guzzling Hummer because Al Gore is tainted.

You may be confused by his winning an award from his friends in Hollywood but his nonsense about global warming is not too popular with climatologists. His choice of subjects to cover left out many reasons that show that the climate changes are clyclical and are caused by the position of the sun. In the mid-1970s, scientific experts were concerned about another ice age coming within the "next ten years". Yep, he does have friends in Hollywood and they know how to straighten out this world - or maybe they're not really that smart....

Lol good luck getting more than one greenie to answer this question... I asked it in three different ways in two different categories and only three or four people on Gore's side responded with "It's the message not the messenger".

Gore is a hypocrite and the worst part is people know it and yet they act like he is walking on water...

Hell I was even polite in my questions and still only a couple people on his side responded. And in the environment section only two people responded total! you would think some one in there would have had something to say...

The silence is very telling...

Gore is a liar and a hypocrite and the far left could care less.

Al Gore, like most politicians in America, is a wealthy man. He does not practice what he preaches.

He uses electricity that is created completely green from a specialized power company in Tennessee. So his electrical use isn't harming the environment, like yours is, Mr. Better-Than. . .

What I am finding so funny about all of this is that the ones choosing to comment negatively on this are the ones that didn't bother to find out all of the facts. The power that Gore uses is produced by a power plant in Tennessee that used windmills and solar energy to produce the electricity that they sell, and the consumers use.

Gore never told anyone he uses less electricity than the rest of the population; he just said to do your part to keep polution down, which has been found to be the contributor of global warming.

Half truths are damaging to arguments. . .

Because he can.
Also, he doesn't practice what he preaches.

The Oscar is just another liberal base. His movie is fiction and does not have the proper facts or proof to be a documentary.

the message loses it's power when the messenger doesn't walk the walk. actually he uses way more than just the simple ratio, remember, he's not home that much!

Typical Democrat ....they can tell everyone else what to do ..but they do nothing that does not benefit themselves ...we must all sacrifice , using less power , less gasoline , so they will have more for them ...it is our duty America , we must live with less power, less gas, less food on the table , less money in our pockets ...so our democratic politicians can maintain their high cost of living , their higher energy costs , their Armani suits ...come on people ..I am voting democrat who is with me ....
