If you're wearing a white button-down professional shirt, I'm assuming you're also wearing trouser pants, yes?
I think you're asking about the new belt trend of wearing larger belts around your natural waist. If you're going to do this look with professional attire, I would go with a black or red leather belt. NY & Company has some great ones. Keep it simple and streamlined, and wear it right at your natural waist.

Depends on what you are wearing on the bottom. If top and bottom ate both very plain, use A Fancy belt, you know A little wide with A pretty buckle. Nothing gaudy, just enough to let people know that all your taste isn't in your mouth. You know the old saying. What separates us from the animals, our ability to accessorize.

You know I would say if the shirt was a little longer then yes. I think a cute belt kinda hanging over to the side.
