I'm looking for more pep/speed out of my Jag. I was wondering if it's possible to buy a supercharger for it and have it installed. If so, where can I get it/get it done? I'm not very knowledgeable with auto stuff so I have no idea. I have a 1997 Jaguar XK8.

I don't even drive, asking this question for someone else. Thanks.

This isn't a practical mod. You would need the supercharger from an XKR, sure. But you will also need the intercooler, intake manifold, ECU and sensors, air plenum, and plumbing. It would be much cheaper to trade your car in on an XJR.

You can put a supercharger on any car. It's a matter of money. One thing that might help you.. they made a supercharged version of the XK8, called the XKR. You could probably use the supercharger from that car and bolt it right on. It's just a matter of finding one.

yes you can have a super charger put on your xk8. some of the jags already have this from the factory. check with eaton superchargers since there the ones that already have the superchargers on them to begin with.
