Jennifer Hudson winning best supporting actress made me so mad and Mark Wahlberg not winning made me sad. The only good things they did was have Martin Scorsese win and having Ellen host.

To me there were three possible "upsets."
First was Arking winning for Supporting Actor. He was great but barely in it, and the film thrived on it's cast not just him. Murphy was great, but so was Arkin so not such an upset.
Second was "Pan's Labrynth" losing Foreign Film. This was an upset but when you see "The Lives of Others," you will realize that this was not such an upset.
And the Third was the biggest for me. "Happy Feet," is a jumbled mess of crap that won because of this whole Penguin love affair in Hollywood right now (March of the Penguins, and the global warming fad) and it's box office surprise hit that it had. "Cars" was a much superior story, had a better look to it, better voice over, and was a better all around film. This to me was the biggest upset.

All Time: Saving deepest Ryan dropping to Shakespere in Love a minimum of Forrest Gump isn't poor. This year: Christopher Nolan no longer prevailing acceptable unique screenplay. The King's speech isn't unique. no longer confusing to write down a screenplay depending off genuine events.

I'd say "Dances with Wolves" beating out "Goodfellas" for best director and best picture.
You didn't limit it to this past Sunday.
