Hear Hear!! I waited on this lady last week with the most distracting beard and mustache. I couldn't wait for her to be gone because I felt like I was staring.

its generally caused by an excess of testosterone in a womans system...the same hormone that causes a man to grow a beard. its also true that if they start shaving it that it will grow back thicker to some extent. it can be a very expensive process to keep getting it waxed plucked or removed by laser...and very painful too...some women try to deal with it as best they can and when nothing works they end up giving up and hope to over compensate by keeping other things they can control nice. every woman and her situation is different...but bottom line is it isnt something that is easily or inexpensively controlled and therefore not fair to make fun of....which basically is just another thing that stems from society's and the medias definition of what is appropriate when it comes to how a woman looks.

It's caused by a hormonal imbalance and can't be helped. It's also expensive to treat.

...because they have a little more testosterone than most women. It's pretty gross, I think. They could shave it, but after that it will grow back thicker and coarser than before. It could be a laziness thing.
