The EXACT same thing happened to me. In my fifth month, I gained ten pounds and wanted to DIE. My sixth though, I'd only gained 3. Go figure.
If you are not exercising I would seriously considering starting, it seemed to curb my weight gain and my appetite and I slept much better. I walk 30 mins a day, 5-6 nights a week.

You're right in line. You are supposed to gain an average of 3/4 pounds a week, which would be 15 pounds for you. 13 pounds is right on.
I'm 15 weeks and I've put on 12. My doctor says it's great.
Of course, steadier weight gain is better than all at once, but you gained over 2 months, which is totally fine.

They say on average you are supposed to gain a pound a week in the first 2 trimesters. In the last trimester you tend to slow down a little bit. I'm 24 weeks and as of my last appointment (3 weeks ago) I had gained 18 pounds.

My doc says your suppose to gain an average of 4 pounds a month starting in the second trimester. So, sounds like your fine. Maybe ask your doctor about it at your next appointment. If he isn't too concerned then your fine! Good Luck!

Everyone is different, if you were small to start out with you should put on some extra pounds. Considering you are already half way there and have only gained 13 lbs . that's great, you should gain a total of 30-35lbs.

There is no real weight gain guide for pregnancy. If you are gaining due to healthy eating, that is much better than weight gain from junk food eating. And remember, you will put on the most weight at the end when your baby is steadily gaining.

goodness .. I've gained 18 lbs. by 20 weeks.
But, I feel happy, and healthy! My blood pressure is low and I got energy!
as long as you're eating the right things don't get too caught up on the weight gain .. you'll leave it at the hospital when you deliver :)
good luck! God bless!
