I have an agp video card but i dont have an agp slot on my motherboard. Is there an adaptor for an agp to be connected to a pci slot?

No. Because the PCI slot only runs at a fraction of the speed of a PCI slot, and does not have direct connection to the processor that a AGP port does, putting an AGP card into a PCI slot would make it crawl. It would be pointless to do, so nobody makes such an adaptor.

No. All new motherboards use PCI-e video slots. The new PCI enhanced bus nearly doubles the bandwidth between the processor and the vid card. If your M/B only has the old PCI slots you might want to think seriously about a complete upgrade. Sorry and best of luck! ;-)=
