I'm looking to get some shoes to wear when I go to Europe this summer. I'm going to be walking a lot, so I need some cute, comfortable flats that I can wear all day. I was thinking about getting some Keds flats, but I'm not sure if they're comfortable for long walking distances.

Yes Keds are comfortable for long distances they would hold up for you, I own 2 pairs myself. Personally I don't have any of the open flats but Keds are great to walk in but If thinking about keds you might also want to try Naturalizer. Their flats are also very comfortable.
Good Luck

Keds ar so comfortable but I don't remember them being very stylish. I'd suggest getting some great ballet slippers. Those are flat, comfortable and cute. Also, flip flops work on non rainy days.

i've only ever bought keds flats before, and the blisters i got were TERRIBLE. they take FOREVER to break in (i probably tried like.. 5+ full school days? and i do a lot of walking) and its like they got worse and worse. i'd imagine that the sneakers are better but the footbed really isn't that comfy.. especially if you're comparing them to converse, i think converse would be better in this case

I love Keds! Its my MOM shoe.
Yet if your walking for a long time, I would get much better support.

Well first of all let me start by reminding you what year this is. It's now 2007. Keds were the shoes in the 90's...I loved them. Yes, they're comfortable and stuff but I believe that it's safe to say that they're old and "played out". If you want to be comfortable, out of style, and cheap this is the way to go, but if you want to be comfortable, in style, and looking fly..HONEY you need to go another way. There are other comfortable shoes out there, and I just wouldn't recommend Keds as the way!! NO HARD FEELINGS! just my opinion!! oh and by the way this is sultryscorpio's friend..not her so don't take it out on her..PEACE!!

P.S. Pick as best cuz u know it is!
