Problem with my SD card?

When i try to get the píctures from it,the laptop won´t recognize it, i don't know if it's damaged or something, i really need these pictures urgently, HELP!!

I've had a similar problem. My Dell Inspiron 700m doesn't recognize SD cards that are larger than 1GB. I suggest you get an SD card reader, stick the card in there and connect to your laptop via the reader's USB. That should fix the problem.
