Well it is harder than firing a barn…

The problem is those teachers are more mobile than a barn. They are too busy to hold still.

Of course building the fire isn’t too hard. Why even a bad teacher can teach you well enough how to build a fire…

A piece of advice from a lifetime student - There are good and bad teachers. And there are good and bad students. Good students find a way to be instructed by bad teachers.

If you have strong feelings about a particular situation, receive it as a reason to be inspired to become a better student. Find other sources to learn the subject (mentors, websites, wikipedia, other teachers, family friends, books, your text book). Do not allow your feelings the opportunity to hijack your opportunity to learn.

Depends on how liberal the school system and district is. Today, it's easier to fire a teacher for giving out an aspirin than a condom. If the teacher is politically correct then the bureaucrats tend to favor that over someone who has the courage to speak the truth and tell it like it is. Teachers that stand for real American values get beat up on by the "preach tolerance" administration crowd. And the ACLU is all too ready to back the leftist agenda and prosecute any teacher that stands for good conservative tradition.

On technical merits, well, that's a whole other story that involves the teacher's unions.

Too dang hard, if they're tenured. My son's teacher used to give the kids an assignment to write things during class. Then he'd sleep away the rest of the class period.
