With getting Guerin yesterday that would put; Guerin, Cheech (both right hand shots), Marleau, Joe and a choice of Pav, Milan, Clowe as the fifth player. Is there even a team that can have that type of fire power on a 5 on 3, when you got a chance to pull the blue line and just pound the net?

To answer your question...yes, they are the deadliest. Why? Because they can put out 2 lines of 5-3!

Guerin, Marleau, Michalek, Pavelski, Erhoff

Cheechoo, Thornton, Clowe, Bernier, Carle

Don't forget...we have some fine offensive d-men as well!

doesnt happen with enough consistency to base an accurate reply. Sharks have alot of fire power but most teams can put out 5 solid PP players. Problem with the Sharks now is how to dispense 60 minutes of hockey over 3 lines. Clowe and Pavelski's roles have now diminshed which also may stunt their development. I think the Red Wings with Holmstrom in front and Datsyuk and Zetterberg on the sides and Lidstrom and Schneider manning the points is an exception PP 5 on 3.
P.S. I agree KYLE D...St. Louis is one hell of an amazing player when given the slightest bit of time and space. I cant tell you how disappointed I was when my Flames gave up on him because I seen so much of Theo Fleury in him.

No, I'm fully convinced that Tampa Bay's 5 on 3 is the best in the league. I will take Martin St. Louis over anyone in the league in space. Vinny Lecavalier is having a career year. Brad Richards gives both those guys opportunities. Paul Ranger and Dan Boyle are phenomenal at keeping the puck in the zone.

I heard the other night during the Stars game against the Canucks that they (Stars) currently had the best 5 on 3 power play. Of course this is statistically. I agree with most others on here, everyone should be able to score 5 on 3.
