Our solar system is the Sun and all planets, asteroids, comets and meteoroids orbiting it. An orbit is the never ending, repeating path a planet or other object takes when it is trapped by the gravity of another body but it doesn't collide with that body. Comets are sometimes called dirty snowballs because they are made up of both ice and rock.

The Sun is just a star, like all the other stars in the night sky, but it is MUCH closer. The stars are all EXTREMELY distant suns. We assume that other stars have solar systems too, and we do have evidence that at least some really do. But I guess it is possible that some stars are just lone Suns, with no solar systems around them.

A solar system is a star which we call Sun which is tied gravitationaly together with other celestial bodies called planets.
The whole conglamorate acts as a singular mass system which is revolving around its mother Galaxy.
Space debries as asteroids and dwarf planets and moons also revolve around the sun and also interacts with planets.
Dust and other debies are locked int to the solar system. Not exucluding satelite ,skylab and space junk left by cosmonauts.etcc..
Orbit is Usually the rotational path a mass takes relative to the barry cnter between two gravitationally interacting masses.
I dont know why they call them dirty snowballs, but Ice Comets are pure ice and its nice and clean.

Hi. Any system which revolves around "Sol", the name of our Sun. Other systems would be "stellar" systems. Among the objects which can revolve around a star are other stars, major planets, minor planets, dwarf planets, asteroids, meteoroids, dust, gas, and comets (which tend to be like 'dirty snowballs'). An orbit is a motion around a body caused by momentum and gravity.

A solar system is a system in which planets, asteriods, and other small bodies orbit a star like our sun. A solar system extends many thousands of miles. We have found that small objects past Pluto are actually in orbit around our sun.
