I always claim to be Irish on St. Patricks Day, because I am Irish, born and bred in Dublin!

I claim to be part Irish all the time, not just on St Patrick's Day. I have a family tree that proves my family, or at least one branch of it. came from Ireland in the early 1700's. I even printed that family line onto a tee shirt to wear on St Patrick's Day.

mom and dad the two Irish from Mayo & Sligo. i replaced into born in London. whilst asked for ethnicity at paintings I gave them White Irish. would be wearing the fairway on the day & proudly wearing my shamrock that my sister constantly sends me. Have discovered some great flashing shamrock earings & shamrock colorings. Of the the pub for the Craic.various the black stuff. l. a. Fheile Padraig Shona dhuit. chuffed St Patricks Day [ I thinks that applicable apoligies if I have been given it incorrect.

What would be the benefit of claiming to be Irish? Surely if you just know some Irish people that would be a good enough excuse to go and get smashed!

I admit that I am not Irish, but I still celebrate St. Patrick's Day as if I am.

I am 100% of Irish heritage but unfortunately married to an Italian, so my last name is not at all Irish, but I sure look it, and I flaunt the hell out of it on St Pats Day!

No, I'm a tenny tiny bit Irish, but on St. Patty's day I always wear my shirt that says "Kiss me I'm NOT Irish" just to mix it up a little bit!
