I just had one and it hurt so much more than anything I have ever experienced before I am trying to find out if it supposed to be so very extremely painful. I also wanna know if you had a lot of clots and bleeding too.

yes. I feel your pain. It does hurt like ****. A little bleeding is nothing to worry about, but if you are bleeding heavily, and passing large clots. GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!! Something is very wrong.

I had an endometrial biopsy done in my doctors office. It was crampy feeling but not really painful to me. It only took a few minutes. It was a short procedure. I had a tiny discharge, but not really any bleeding afterward. I had a biopsy on my thyroid years ago that was incredibly painful. The surgery was easier. I think you should call your doctor and let them know what your experiencing. Best wishes to you.

I had a few as part of my infertility treatment; yeah, they hurt. Not having a baby would hurt worse, so I went ahead with "the plan". I did have two kids eventually. :) So, the pain was worth it.

Don't you love the way your male doctor says, "You're going to feel a 'pinch'."? I wonder how a pinch feels on HIS anatomy?? ;)
