First we deal with order of operations.
So we do 5x2 first: 5 x 2 = 10
The problem is now: -3 + 4 - 10
-3 + 4 = 1
1 - 10 = -9
Answer is -9

-3 +4 - (5x2) is how you may prefer to right it (think BODMAS)
Brackets Of Division Multipliation Addition Subtraction
This is the order that you should tackle the question in
So...multiplication firstly:
-3 +4 - (5x2)= -3 +4 -10
Now for the addition, there's a +4
& with the Subtraction there's -3 & -10= -13
so +4 -13= -9
-9 is your answer

Moving from left to right, you do all the multiplications and divisions first. So,
-3 + 4 - 5x2 = -3 + 4 - 10
Now, you do all the additions and subtractions from left to right. So,
-3 + 4 - 10 = 1 - 10
1 - 10 = -9

The rule for order of operation: BODMAS - brackets of division, multiplication, addition and subtraction which means do anything in the brackets 1st, then followed by division, multiplication, addition and subtraction.
So, the method is -3+4-10 = 1-10 = -9
