I got my period at school last week i go a private high school 16 years old so I had to tell the princpal which is a female about it and my mom luckily who lives close by stopped and got me pads why do I feel so embrassed?

I don't know WHY you feel embarrassed but you shouldn't. I don't think a woman on the face of this earth hasn't had to obtain sanitary products by asking another woman at some time in her life. When I was a retail manager female customers used to come to me for tampons/pads if the vending machine in the ladies room ran out. I guarantee your principal didn't give it a thought at the time nor has she thought about it since. You can forget about it too. It's really no big deal, trust me.

It's is a big step. You just got a wake up call that your body is changing and that you are becoming a woman. It made me embarrassed when I first got it.
But it is normal, obviously, and if you have questions about what's going on and what is happening ask your mom or doctor. You are going to be going through changes and it's ok to feel unsure, embarrassed, confused by them. But ask someone you trust and someone who is knowledgeable about the topic. You will feel better soon.

I am sorry you had to go through that it can be very embarassing to have to go through such a thing but just remember life goes on and you will eventually forget about it and it gets to be less of a problem for the future consider carrying something with you in your purse or backpack. Maybe also keeping a change of clothes in your locker if youthink that is necessary.

Don't feel embarrassed!!! I remember when I was 16. I was too embarrass. This will pass as you get older! Just think think most of your other girl friends have their periods. Talk freely to your friends about this. This will help next time when you get your period. Good Luck!!!

You are embarrsed cause you had to tell someone else about your personal problems you will get over it. WEll good luck!~!~!~
