I pinched a nerve about 8 months ago. I had and have had no pain besides the original event. After chiropractor, physical therapy etc I still am not fixed. I walk wobbley, I drive, I get around without help. But I am still invalid. My nerve dr. said that my nerves work fine and that a pinched nerve is the same damage as electrical shock. Dr. said I will heal but it takes a long time. Aspirin does more than anything else. I take about 6 24 hours. The more I take the better I get. Any high speed suggestions?

I had a pinched nerve in my back but I ended up having surgery to repair it because I literally could not walk. Lots of stretching helps ease the pain. I would also recommend that if you are slightly over weight to lose a few pounds because the extra weight (if you have any) can add more pressure to the pinched nerve.
Ask your doctor for some pain medication, let him/her know that Tylenol is just not working for you and you’d like something to help ease the pain until you feel better.
I would also recommend seeing another doctor for a second opinion. Try a orthopedic surgeon, that’s who I saw when I was having problems with my pinched nerve.

I would suggest for you to get a 2nd opinion from a neurosurgeon. Swimming will help releive your pain and strethen your muscles! I've had problems now for @ 10 years. I've been to physical therapy and chiropractor's on and off during this duration. Also try taking 800 mg of motrin. That could help. I feel for you!!! Good Luck!!!

Have you considered acupunture? My wife had it done and it help, and she's scared of needles.
She also had a shot where the problem was, that also help
