If the graphics come in the usual jpeg, gif, png or bitmap form, usually double-clicking on the icons representing the images is sufficient to open the image viewer or editor. (I am assuming that you are using an email client application that your "geometric shape" image contains the shortcut/link to the image.)

Right Click the photo. Click properties. SEE what type of photo it is JPEG , BMP,PNG,...etc Then you should know what program to use that is on your computer that will open it.I dont know what photo software that you have so youll have to decide or email me at fbshines@yahoo.ca ! Also if you right click the photo and copy the photo and then paste on your desktop you should be able to put your mouse over it and see how many bits it has in case its an empty file and what type it is and whether its compressed or not.HOPE this helps

The geometric shapes means it cannot display the picture or picture type. Usually a work or school computer does this. You usually just need to install something. I would email support person at microsoft.com, or apple.com, or ubuntu.com, or whatever OS you use.

Double click them. You may need to install Adobe or something like that. They may be blocked if you are at work as well.
