I started my period when I was 10 or 11...I dont remember having a growth spurt ...at all!!! many people say it has nothin to do with my period and i am still young and naive so i will keep on growin to 5'9" yet I seem to agree with the people who say I will stop growin NOW and ive reached my adult height......

I was 5'6 when I was 13 I only grew another inch. I wanted to be 5'10. We are all different, you will mostly likely be completely done growing when you are 18, you may grow a lot more, you may not grow at all. Everybody is different.
There is nothing you ca do to determine you height so just wait it out. You may hit 5'9. Let us know in 5 years.
5'6 is still above average height for a woman, so congrats. You are taller than 50% of women already.

I am 5'5 and I have not grown in 3 yrs so I think that i am not going to grow any time soon and I am 17. As far as i know your period doesn;t have anything to do with your height so good luck

I hit 5'6" at 12 and stopped growing. I'm still 5'6" many years later. I can't even guess what you'll experience though.

I'm 28 and 5'2 so I think I officially stopped growing :o(

my daughter got her period at 9, has been about 5'6" since then...
