...because you say there is nothing wrong with honoring the old defeated Confederacy, then do you also agree that there is nothing wrong with flying the Mexican flag in the southwest US to honor the old defeated Mexcian army?

Because Mexico's another country. The states that formerly made up the Confederacy are part of the USA.
Why would you want to honor the Mexican army? They massacred the entire garrison of the Alamo and started the Mexican War by firing on American troops patroling the border..
It would be like honoring the Japanese at the Arizona monument.

i got no problem with that, its america, enjoy your freedom to fly whatever flag you like. Slaves didnt come into the US under the stars and bars, they came in under the stars and stripes.

If it is done in a historical context or placed on a war memorial I have no problem with it. In fact I encourage it.
