YEAH!! really it is, i think imagination is the most important characteristic of humanity i ill tell u why. Imagintation make posible the evolution of the man because using the imagination they start answering the question they made. This is the main characteristic of humanity that after possible the others characteristics of humanity.

It is the ability to concieve of time as a concept. No other creature on this planet has demostrated the ability to think of the past and the future in the present. Man is also the only creature we know of that imagines a world, other than this one, after death.

Humour. It is most important that we possess humour.
However the most prominent characteristic that humanity uniquely possesses is 'Greed'. We tend to hoard, collect more than what we need and feel more comfortable in 'excess' than in 'suffecient'.

we are in the same position, and united under some kind of underlying purpose that we all have no understanding of. Our ignorance is both the best and worst thing we all have in common, so Im glad to be in the same boat as my fellow man, who knows maybe we'll figure this place out someday?

Close: I think creativity is the most important.
The first chapter of Genesis starts: "In the beginning God created..." It gives examples of his creations, then says "God created humanity in his own image..." The only thing said about God before this, was "God created" and "God made..." So, we have to assume that the image of God is something of a creator too...

you cant just choose one as it will be insignificant without all the other good characteristics

But I do think the ability to show love and compassion is very important
