I was the exact same age as you when I met some snowmobilers in Montana and had the same conversation. What they told me is, school is not for everyone. However, education is very important. I went on to get my GED- which you really have to do asap nowdays. I don't know if this helps- but I am not one to parent a person especially if they are not sure where their life stands at that moment in time. I hope this helped a little bit:0 Good Luck!

Have to talked with an adult about WHY you are hating school? Maybe if you talk about it, you can find a solution. Talk to your parents, a counselor or a teacher you like. I'm sure there are adults around you who would like to help you.
If your current school isn't working out, you have other options. You can look into homeschooling or a vocational center in you area.
Just remember, your education is the foundation for your future success in life. Sometimes the best lessons you learn at school have nothing to do with academics and everything to do with developing people skills.
Also keep in mind that a GED is NOT the same as a HS diploma. Your choice can affect what kind of jobs or further education/training options are available to you.

Do you know what you would do if you left school? Do you have a career in mind that would not require a high school diploma? Is this a decision that you're going to regret in five years, or ten? If you don't graduate from high school, then that shuts off nearly all avenues of career, and condemns you to pretty much minimum wage for the rest of your life. Why don't you talk to a guidance counselor or a teacher or a parent about what's bothering you the most about it. If you're a junior, then you've only got a year and a little bit to go. You can tough it out.

What's the real issue here? You've only got 1 1/2 years left. Is it problems with your peers? The educators? Odds are you won't even have to associate with any of those people after you get out. Or are you just tired of the "high school" atmosphere? College is a whole different ball game, and a lot more fun. You can't just quit your education. Not if you want to have a decent future. If you quit now, you'd better learn the phrase "do you want fries with that?"

Address why it makes you cry everyday.
are the other students not nice?
is the school environment dangerous?
is the stuff you're studying not relevant?
is it too hard?
what would you rather be doing that would help you grow mentally?
etc
life doesn't get easier just because you stop going to school.
hey, some folks stay in school because they think it's easier/safer than the real world.
things that are not easy are a challenge.
just know you can make changes and see how you can change it to suit you. maybe it's changing schools.
change is the only constant!

I know its tough, but stick it out. You are a junior so you only have 2 more years, so why quit after doing 10 years of school? You will appreciate it too when you graduate because you can get a good job and continue your education. Talk with your parents and teachers about your problem and maybe they can work out something to better suite you, but don't give up!!

First of all, try to find the main reason why you do not want to go to school....Is it because of class mates? teachers too boring? hate waking up so early? etc. , then find a way to solve it, if its class mates if is because they are agressive, try to seek help with the principal or so, is is your teachers try to request to change your teaxher, and explain your counsulor that you feel that you can do much better if you have a teacher that helps you to find a subject more interesting an to allow you to just give it a try, if is about waking up so early try going to sleep at a good hour that will allow you to have enough sleep.... if none of the above, just find the good side about school, you will be so proud of you if you finish it. If not, just consider transfering to another school where you have relatives, this helped my cousin a lot, he was having the same problem.

Well how are you going to handle the rest of your life?? Because school is a piece of cake compared to working out there in the real world. Stop being a little baby. Grow up and get back in school. Millions of people have to do things everyday they don't want to. What makes you so damn special??

Sorry that you feel that way...try speaking to someone like your parent, or school counselor..they are there to help you. You are a junior in highschool which says that you are almost there. You can do it...but it seems there is a bigger issue here. Please open up and speak to someone about what is bothering you. Education is so important ...as well as taking care of YOURSELF! Hope you talk to someone and further your education because you only have 1 more year and then you can graduate. Which will be something you will feel so great about. Good Luck! :)))))))))))

Tough it out and concentrate more on subject matter than "school"
There's a light at the end of the tunnel and you're not far from it.
There's no comparison between pride in success, and regret
in quitting. Besides, where do you think you'll be and what do you
think you'll be doing without AT LEAST a high school diploma?
