I like Ellen Degeneres too. She's open about being gay without being too in your face.
Melissa Etheridge is so talented and I'm glad she won her Oscar. Special mentions to her and Ellen for coming out while everyone would still probably hate them for it.
Leisha Hailey kicks @ss and I love the L Word.
Darren Hayes seems so sweet and I love it whenever there are mushy romantic songs that I know were written by someone gay.
David from Aussie Big Brother who's now on Dancing With The Stars proving not all gay men can dance, but he tries and he is the loveliest man.
Nathan also from Big Brother and has a radio show coz he is SOOOOOOO funny!
Angelina Jolie does a lot of great work, assuming she really is bisexual.
Hmmm... very unsubstantiated but if rumours are true Jodie Foster has to be the only respectable 40-something woman in Hollywood.
Pedro Almodovar coz he is a really great director and I love his films.
I love Tennesee Williams' plays.
Sinead O'Connor is pretty good.
Lily Tomlin cracks me up. I love I Heart Huckabees.

I love ellen aswell. not only does she have an amazing sense of humour, and shows that not all lesbians are like teh dykes on bikes. She did a lot for the GLBT-movement during the late 80ies and begin nineties.
Her sitcom ellen, raised a lot of points of attention to the public, and she did so in such a cunning and subtile way, that noone got insulted. To me she is the gay version of mahatma ghandi, she fought war without confrontation, but with understanding humor and self-mockery.
i wish more people were like ellen ^^

Although David Bowie is now saying he is straight, I admire the balls it took for him to come out early in his career with his bisexuality.
I went to a Catholic school and any mention of the word "gay" painted a picture of something very gross and inhuman.
When I became a teen in the mid-80s, I became enchanted with David Bowie music. I wanted to learn more about the artist. When I learned that he was bi, I was at first shocked, and then relieved. This was proof that "gay" did not have to mean gross or inhuman. Bowie was beautiful and his art touched me to the core. That meant to me that it was okay for me to have the bisexual tendencies that I have been dreading to have for so long. I am not gross or anything less than human. Thanks to David Bowie, I learned that I can love who and what I am.
Is he really straight now? Who knows. He's said a lot of different stuff over the years and contradicted himself. I just think he's happy in his marriage and doesn't want any bad karma from his first marriage, which was very open and non-committal, to hurt what he has now. I wish him the best there.

and Dave Kopay. It was about 30 years ago that this running back for the Washing Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers came out and said he was gay. That was a big thing back then and took a lot of gonads to do. I admire that sort of surety of self.

I'd have to say my all time favorite is Jodie Foster. I have a super duper crush on her. Ever since I saw her in Panic Room running around everywhere, sweating, cussing, it was all over; I found my one and true beauty. LOL, God its those muscles. That nicely toned body that isnt to feminine or too masculine. And that voice, a little deeper than most, but sexy as hell. Aww! Just thinking about her drives me wild...Is she single? Shes a lot older than I am, but hot nonetheless. OMG and in Flight Plan, again Jodie Foster running around, sweating, muscles flexing...
Excuse while I go take a cold shower...
