Is there a 'left baggage' service at Salzburg central train station?

I am planning to take a day trip there -- arrive in the morning and leave at night to another city.

The main station is called Salzburg Hauptbahnhof.

There is a storage room that is open from 4am-midnight

And there are also 24hr lockers where you can store your luggage as well. Prices are 2 , 2.5 or 3.5 euro depending on the price

I'm not sure if there's a place to check your luggage or not (though usually there is) but I've read there are lockers you can rent there. :)
