give him some time he is only 3 months old and sometimes kids dont want to yet. it could happen tomorrow just give him some time and keep trying. try laying him on his back and maybe he will start rolling over and do it on his own.

you want him to get used to tummy time a good trick is to role a small blanket and rest him on it right on his chest just below the armpits. they usally don't hate it as much that way becasue they can see a few more things but its really important for him to have that tummy time you don't want him to have a flat head and if your in the same room as him it wouldn't hurt if he had a little nap on his tummy just keep an eye on him because of coarse he is still on in the sleep on his back age. good luck and don't give up i babysit a little girl she is 1 now and has that flattest head i have ever seen its terrible and she still sleeps perfictly still on her back its awful

Your son is only 3 months. Don't rush him let him work on his own pace. My daughter hated it at that age too. She learned to roll over BY herself at 4 months, she liked being on her tummy at 5 months. YOu have to let him do it on his own, he will like tummy time when he rolls over and he can use his arms to support himself instead of eating carpet.

Both of mine screamed their heads off during tummy time. Thankfully, though, they both eventually got over it. :) My suggestion to you is to have brief periods of tummy time several times per day instead of just one long one-hour tummy time period. Eventually he WILL get used to it. Especially when his neck muscles really get strong and he realizes, "Hey, I can look all around. Maybe this isn't so bad after all!" :) Good luck to you.

He just dont like it right now. Just continue to try him and he will eventually do it because he will get tired of being like that.

Keep working with him and he'll get used to it. maybe sit and play with him with a ball or some noisy toys to get his attention.

Please, just enjoy your baby. Every baby is different. He is just not ready to use his arms.
